The goal of this training course is to improve credit analysts’ use and interpretation of ratings in their day-to-day work, with lectures on credit ratings, business risk and financial risk as well as various case studies. Using case studies in group discussion, the program provides participants with an in depth understanding of the rating practices employed by Korea Investors Service. The program gives participants opportunities not only to refine their analytic abilities but also to understand how Korea Investors Service carries out its corporate credit rating.

ABS Credit Analysis Course is an intensive training program that includes case studies. The program is conducted by Korea Investors Service professionals in each asset class. It is designed to help the course attendees to enhance their practical knowledge on securitization structures and risk factors for each asset class and their ability to evaluate risks associated with investments in ABS. The program is conducted with classes of small size so that all the attendees can have opportunities to participate in case studies and experience the same analytic process that Korea Investors Service analysts use for their ratings.
